Calling all foodies!

I need your help!!  I know a lot of you out there are foodies, so I am calling all of you to help.  The YW in my ward are putting together a recipe book to earn money for girls camp. We are starting to collect yummy recipes for all over. So, I wanted to ask my blog readers to post a comment with their favorite recipe to share.  Soon your recipe will be immortalized in print, and you can even buy a copy. Stay tuned for details!

Thanks!  Emily

Bow Tie Chicken Pasta
1 bag bow tie pasta, cooked
4 chicken breasts, grilled
1 sm bag spinach
fruit (I used blueberries, strawberries) or craisins
Feta Cheese
2 cans Mandarin Oranges
½ red onion, chopped
Candied pecans or slivered almonds

Dressing:
½ c. soy sauce
2/3 c. cider vinegar
4 T. canola oil
4 T. sugar
1 t. salt
½ t. pepper
In a jar w/ tight lid, combine dressing ingredients. Shake well. Add chicken, pasta and half of the dressing; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Set remaining dressing aside.
Just before serving, add the remaining ingredients and dressing and toss to coat.

Ems, this is such a great idea for a fundraiser! Our ward might have to steal it :)

Here's another great one I just tried:

Muffins that taste like Donuts

1-¾ cup Flour
1-½ teaspoon Baking Powder
½ teaspoons Salt
½ teaspoons Nutmeg
½ teaspoons Cinnamon
⅓ cups Oil
¾ cups White Sugar
1 whole Egg
¾ cups Milk

FOR THE TOPPING:
¼ cups Butter
⅓ cups White Sugar
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.

Combine oil, sugar, egg and milk. Add dry ingredients and stir only to combine.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a bowl. Combine the white sugar with the cinnamon in another bowl.

Shake muffins out while still hot. Dip muffins in butter, then into the sugar/cinnamon mix. Let cool.
